​One hot summer by the pool, I was deep into a book when I came across the story of Josh Van Dyke and the legendary Soggy Dollar Bar—where the Painkiller cocktail made its name. And I was lucky, they included the recipe! (great love story and I tried one in 2020, and ever since, it’s been my go-to drink all summer long. Refreshing, tropical, and perfect for beating the Texas heat.
